Fida and Steinunn had a busy week in Indonesia last week, travelling to Jakarta to attend the Indonesia International Geothermal Convention & Exhibition (IIGCE) – a conference where Icelandic geothermal solutions were in the spotlight.
Visitors showed great interest in GeoSilica’s products, which have their origins in geothermal energy. Indonesia has vast geothermal resources and has set ambitious goals to utilise them to support sustainable development and community growth.
Closer collaboration between Iceland and Indonesia – two very different countries that share valuable experience in harnessing geothermal energy – is creating exciting new opportunities for Icelandic companies in one of the world’s largest energy markets.
